Volumetric Feeding Equipment

The volumetric feeder is a simple, economical feeding solution for applications that do not require a high degree of feed rate accuracy. Volumetric feeders are also frequently employed in gain-in-weight batch operations.

Screw feeders are the most common and economical volumetric feeders you can buy. K-Tron makes both single screw and twin screw volumetric feeders in a wide range of sizes to meet your feed rate requirements and solve your material handling problems. Some are optimized for quick material changes and can even be configured for differing material properties. Others feature easy cleanability and meet food and pharmaceutical sanitary requirements.

K-Tron also offers a volumetric Bulk Solids Pump (BSP), the only volumetric feeder that is capable of accuracies comparable to many gravimetric feeders.
